​Designed by Dark Source and manufactured by Given, DS is a dark sky friendly luminaire which blends environmental responsibility with high-performance design. Its versatile nature allows for a broad selection of accessories and mounting systems, ensuring suitability across diverse terrains and typologies. Emerged from a lighting improvement project​ in North Wales and made possible through the support of Eryri National Park, DS was conceived to address a challenge shared by dark sky advocates worldwide: the lack of affordable, sustainable, and durable outdoor lighting alternatives which are aligned with dark sky principles and industrial quality standards.​
